What cardio exercises are best for weight loss? I need a routine.?
(looking for answers from those with experience in the health/fitness field- thanks!) I am a 24 year old female. I weigh approx. 150lbs on a 5'6" frame. I used to work out quite a bit but took a desk job a year ago and have stopped working out entirely as I no longer have time. BUT I have just joined a gym again and I am pumped and ready to go again!. My goal is to burn calories, improve my cardio vascular health and get better overall tone to my body. (i dont need a six-pack or anything- just want to look a bit thinner and toned) I prefer cardio to weights (especially since the gym i go to is full all the time and weights are NEVER available.) This is my routine right now- 3 times a week: elliptical : 30-40 min at high intensity Stairmaster : 10 min slow paced climbing I dont have a lot of time as I go after work on my way home. Only 1 hour maximum. Should I be adding anything else to my routine or will this be sufficient for my goals along with healthier eating?

Youtube name and Idea ( Long alert sorry :( )?
Hi, I want to make a new youtube account as I'm not a fan of my name as i made it in 2008. I want to delete this account but i have a video, a couple of subscribers, and friends on this account. Plus this account doesn't describe me at all. I want an account for health, fitness, and the general randomness. I just cant think of a name or a truthful topic. I start trying to make a video, upload it then take it down after two days because I don't like it. Some one please help. I'm in need as I want to do this so badly but can't. Possible words to include in my name ( you don't have to include this if you don't want to): Kirby or something that gives the hint that this channel is about health and fitness. I'm not fit/skinny, just the opposite. I kinda wanted it to be a journey type of channel but I tried the everyday vlog thing and failed miserably. So, if you can do you have any ideas on names, and how to make good videos. Thank you in advance. Sorry for it being long

What do you think about my vegan?
I'm a 43-year old male -- height: 5'6" (1.7 m); weight: 142 lbs (64 kg) -- and I want to lose about a pound (a half a kilo) per week. I drink 21 cups of regular drip coffee a week, and I drink 12 ounces (355 ml) of red wine per night, which is about two glasses. I really don't want to change my coffee and wine consumption; I just wanted to know if you would make any changes to this diet. If so, what would they be? BTW, I don't use any oil of any kind. I don't use mustard or vinegar either. I just add herbs and spices. I lift weights three times per week, and I do a lot of walking. I'm not going to give best answer until tomorrow, so take your time answering. (I first posted this question in Health & Fitness, and I'm reposting it here as per the advice of an answerer.) Here's the diet: VEGAN DIET (incl. vitamin B12): One vitamin B12 and six glasses of water a day. Three snacks a day: eight almonds, hazelnuts, or cashews; one fruit (at least one citrus per day). Breakfast: two Wasa crackers; eight almonds, hazelnuts, or cashews; one fruit. Lunch: For the grains: either 2/3 cup of brown rice or two Wasa crackers. For the vegetables: at least one half a plate of salad with both yellow vegetables (such as carrots and tomatoes), leafy greens, such as lettuce, and one or more of the following vegetables: cucumber, radishes, eggplant, onion, zucchini. Dinner: Legumes: green beans, hummus, brown lentil soup, or red lentil paste. Grains: 2/3 cup of brown rice, two Wasa crackers, or 1/2 cup dry oats. At least one half a plate of salad with both yellow vegetables (such as carrots and tomatoes), leafy greens, such as lettuce, and one or more of the following vegetables: cucumber, radishes, eggplant, onion, zucchini. (boiled baby potatoes on reserve -- limit four per day)
