I have been dealing with depression and anxiety?
And a few other mental problems.
Lately though, i have been finding ways to cope with it and try and make myself better, which has been working for the most part, but the gloomy thoughts and panic does come back around to get me sometimes.
I have been looking into going to school to major in psychology, minor in health and nutrition and then transfer to med school and become a psychiatrist. Would my background with medium depression and anxiety ocd and other traits not be a right fit if i wanted to learn about that area and help people? Or could i possibly learn more about my disorders and learn to fix them and cope with them better?
I truly, truly just want to help people that i know are in my same situation. I know how hard it is to live with this, and manage it..and ive been to countless psychologists/psychiatrist and i see how many of them just don't really help and are only feeding what they have been told...but i figure with my background knowing the things that have helped me and what ive learned through experience, WITH what i would learn through school, it would help...
i just want to make sure going into to study that field and try and help people, with my background, i would actually be able to learn and do some good, rather than screw myself over more, or just have no worth towards anyone i might want to help in the future

how much weight would lose not eating for 5-7 days with everyday exercise?
Hey im turning 23 im 5'4ft and 105pounds (47kgs) I do between 2 and a half to 3 and half hours of exercise everyday, I havent been doing my exercise for the past 2 weeks because im on my break, Im told you need to have one every 3 months so your body can rest and also so you dont hit a plateau, I know everything about nutrition and exercise,
But ive seemed to have gained (3kgs) its not alot I know , also from eating stuff here and there which I normally never eat, Which is fine but I feel really bad for gaining weight and treating myself, Ive starved myself before for 3 days and I lost quiet a substantial amount of weight but how much would I lose if I turned it up a notch and didnt eat for 5-7 days??
would I get back down to my original weight with exercise of course, I know its bad for you but after I get back to my weight I would start eating healthy again and doing my exercise everyday.

I never thought of myself of having an eating disorder I just thought it was normal,
And I do it healthy im on a strict regime and diet im not a big eater anyways i usually only eat fruit, raw nuts and dried fruit and whole grain rice crackers and rice cakes If i do eat a meal it will be healthy cereal thats normal everyday diet for me. Ive stuffed up im angry at myself for taking time off and for having junk here and there which like I said I NEVER do, I feel like I need to punish myself and I feel like i let myself down, and I hate feeling like ive lost control.
I also take diet pills aswell sometimes with out eating a meal at all...
